Wnt, Stem Cells, Development and Cancer

The Grainger lab at San Diego State University is interested in the mechanisms that govern how stem cells are made, maintained, and become cancerous. In particular, we are interested in how the Wnt signaling pathway works in the development and homeostasis of blood stem cells. We use the zebrafish, and cell culture as model systems.
